The cinema has kindly agreed to allow the children to bring a small snack and drink from home. This must be able to fit in jacket pockets. Children should bring £2.50 towards the cost of the visit. Transport will be paid by the Parent Council.
Carol Service in Halkirk Church – Esme Duncan has very kindly offered to do a Carol Service in Halkirk Church on Friday 23rd December at 1.45pm. Godwin has moved to another parish in the Scottish borders. The Carol Service will start at 1.45pm and all families are warmly invited. There will be a collection plate for anyone wishing to donate to the church.
Homework – At the last Parent Council Meeting the subject of Homework was discussed. In Term 3 we are going to draft a new Homework Policy to try and give more flexibility and creativity to homework. This will be easier for our older pupils. Younger pupils will still need regular support with reading, phonics and number bonds. We will review and ask for feedback before the summer holidays. More details next term.
