Welcome to Term 4 – I hope you all had an enjoyable Easter break.
Football Coach – We urgently need a Football Coach for our P6 and P7 pupils for just a few weeks. Most of the players already go to training in the village but the Inter School Tournament is coming up this term (date to be confirmed) so they will need to prepare for that.
Assembly – All classes had a very informative talk from the Caithness Cats Protection League last week.
Library Update – We have now secured further funding from HDBF for £3,500 and £500 from Dounreay which is great news. The author Linda Strachan will be working with all classes on Tuesday 17th May.
Football Tournament – On Friday 26th May we are delighted to be hosting football teams from Holm School, Orkney. There will be P4/5 and P6/7 matches. More details will follow.
Sports Day – This is scheduled for Tuesday 30th May at 1.30pm. A message will be left on the school’s Information Line on 0800 564 2272 Code 04 21 70 to confirm whether the event is going ahead.
Parent Afternoon/Evening – This takes place on Wednesday 7th June. Slips to request an appointment will be issued later this month.
General Election – The school will be closed to pupils on Thursday 8th June as it’s being used as a Polling Station.
Caithness Music Festival from 12th to 16th June – Vivian will shortly be putting out the details of dates and times for children who are entered in classes. If you have any queries, just let us know. Good Luck Everyone!!
Friday 30th June – School closes at lunchtime for summer holidays.
